Mary has been waiting for Lily to grow into this cute little MSU outfit for awhile now. And finally, it was time! We scheduled a little photo shoot with the kids and despite my camera battery dying and the kids being tired and slightly uncooperative we got quite a few cute shots :)

A few randoms
Stylish girl
Lily has a style all her own. She picks out her bows (first thing in the morning, right after she wakes up), shoes and other random accessories. Or the absence of said accessories. Or clothes.

Best buddies
So far, so good, in the world of sibling friends. They definitely have their moments, but usually spend most of the day playing (nicely) together. On the days when Wade is at school, they seem to need to make up for lost time when he comes home. I will hear Wade say, "C'mon Lily!" and off they go into his room and shut the door. I am convinced that they go inside and play their own separate games, but just want to be near each other. Plus it is very quiet in the house then, so there is NO WAY I am going in there.

Invasion of the snails!
It rained here for about a week straight. Through the nights, during the days. We did have occasional times when the rain would subside, but they were just that- occasional. It was nice, but we were ready for some dryer weather after a few days. All that wet weather made these little guys come out in full force. I have seen them around here and there, but they were EVERY WHERE! Meaning, you would hear grotesque crunching sounds as you walked out the front door. Yuck. Anyway I thought it was super cool, and they kids were beside themselves while the snails visited for a few days.
By they way, that very last picture shows the snails' trails on the side of the house. You have to look carefully, but that is what our driveway was decorated with for a few days- trails of sparkly (albeit slimy) snail trails.
Punkins!
Disclaimer: There are a few times a year that I go seriously overboard on pictures. Ok, maybe more than a few. Halloween is one of them, so be forewarned- there is a ton of (orange) pictures below. Probably too many.
This year we visited 2 pumpkin patches. The first one was an impromptu visit to a small church in between rain showers. The kids still had fun and we got the first of some cute fall pictures :)
Finally, it stopped raining long enough for us to take our annual trip to Sweetberry Farms. Wade and Lily were really lovey that day, so it was nice to catch some pictures of them being sweet to each other. Wade, of course, loved the train and Lily could not get enough of the goats. They had so much fun that they BOTH crashed out on the ride home. I say- success! On so many levels... ;)
