Every time I thought about updating this blog, the thought was so intimidating that I immediately found something else to do- luckily there was no lacking in that department. I really wanted to catch up chronologically and post about the fantastic summer we had- Sea World, birthday parties, vacations, Fourth of July, trips to the zoo, camping, Wade learning to ride a bike, BEFORE I skipped right ahead to fall (quickly closing in on winter).
Plus I also must admit, that every time I thought about updating this blog, I thought about those people who weren't around to read it anymore. It made me a little teary (as it does now) to feel like I was going on without them seeing what fun their great grandkids or great grandnephews & grandnieces were up to.
However, I am letting it all go.
I do NOT need to chronologically update you on the fun we had this summer. I can post the here and now and add in a little sprinkling of what this summer was like during the bleak winter months where we very well might be snowed in (just kidding, Mary).
I do NOT need to worry about what Grandma Kludt, Grandpa Brooks, Grandpa Schroeder and Aunt Roni are missing, because they are not. They are smiling down on us and enjoying every minute, just as we are.
So there.
Now, just because this post feels a little somber, here are few cute kid pictures lighten the mood:
