Sweet Berry Farms!

I think one of the things I will miss the most about Texas, is our annual fall trip with Katie & her kids to Sweet Berry Farms. We are dirty and exhausted when we leave, and almost always question our sanity and debate whether or not to come back the next year. But really there is no question, we always have.

The kids have learned to smile pretty right up front so Katie & I can snap a few staged pictures and then they have earned their freedom. On to the real fun! We tire everyone out on the bouncy thing, wander the corn maze (a new event for us this year), feed the goats, have a picnic lunch, ride the train and pick flowers. After that, we usually have a few meltdowns on the way to the car, try (unsuccessfully) to make everyone use the port-a-potties, and go through a container of wipes trying to de-grime and disinfect everyone.

But really, when you see their smiles (even the fake ones at the beginning), it is totally worth it.
