This year, I had a LOT of fun with the kids on April Fool's Day!
First, when I made Wade's lunch, I stuck in a lot of fake bugs and glued googly eyes onto the containers. Then, I hot-glued googly eyes onto some (most) of the condiments and containers in the refrigerator. I had Wade go get something from the fridge in the morning and the kids couldn't believe their eyes. Hilarious!

Finally, I had big plans for dessert. I was going to ask- "Who wants brownies?" and show them the pan of brown
E's, but I lost track of time, and quite honestly, forgot about them sitting on the counter.
I did get to make them some "eggs and toast" for dessert though. I loved the looks on their faces when I brought over their plates- especially Wade, who HATES eggs. They looked pretty realistic!

| Eggs & toast for dessert?! It's actually melted marshmallows, yellow frosting and toasted pound cake. |
