Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Our first trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo was fantastic. The giraffe feeding area makes it all worth it! Not to mention it was a beautifully set up zoo winding up and down the side of a mountain. We had a great day, and I got to spend time with an old friend from college, Jocelyn, who happened to be in town visiting her sister. We will definitely be back- with Wade!

The reptile house was very unusual and was set up sort of like an art museum.
Here the turtles were in a small pool near a concrete living room- complete with a couch and recliner...
