The kids had never been sledding before. I KNOW, right?! So, when Dave (Mark's college room-mate/our neighbor (basically)) invited us to the sledding hill around the corner, we were in.
We broke 2 sleds, shed some tears over the painfulness of snow on bare skin and all-in-all had a great time. Lily loved riding with Mark and I, but of course, Wade wanted nothing to do with us (I think it may have been Kyra(Dave's 4th grade daughter)'s presence) and handled all the sledding like a pro. I'm not exactly sure how many times he sledded down, climbed the hill, sledded down, climbed the hill- but he definitely slept well that night!
